Terms of Service

This is a plain-language draft, not final legal text, posted so EDUQIVA has a live Terms URL where one is required (SMS/A2P 10DLC registration, payment processing) while the final version is prepared with EDUQIVA's attorney.

Who this is for

These terms apply to anyone who registers for a class, applies to teach, applies to sponsor, or otherwise uses the EDUQIVA website. EDUQIVA currently enrols students aged 18 and over only; when programmes for younger learners launch, a parent or guardian will complete registration and consent on the student's behalf and these terms will be updated first.

Classes are free

EDUQIVA classes are provided at no cost to students, funded by class sponsors. EDUQIVA is a for-profit organization, not a registered charity — see our Sponsors page for how sponsorship and tax treatment work.

Acceptable use

Students, parents/guardians, teachers, and sponsors agree to treat others respectfully during classes and communications, and to provide accurate information when registering or applying. EDUQIVA may suspend or remove access for anyone who violates EDUQIVA's policies or puts other students or teachers at risk.

Teachers

Teachers are vetted before being placed with students, including identity verification and a background check prior to placement with minors, as described on our Teachers page.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as EDUQIVA grows. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date.
